Futurecop! - N.A.S.A
You know what I don’t like about the whole 80’s craze? Well, a lot of things but for one I’m not a fan of just going back to go back. It seems a lot of artist are copying the 80’s instead of being inspired by it. Now, let’s make one thing clear I’m an 80’s fiend, but I’m also all about constantly creating that new new. There are bands, Chromeo for example, that take the vintage and blend it with the contemporary very well, but we’re not talking about the people who do it right.
“Ni$^#’s look at you strange they say you changed. Like you work that hard to stay the same.” - Sean Carter
I could ramble about this for days but the reason why I’m posting Futurecop! today is because they’re one of the few 80’s obsessed bands who are genuinely good. In true space age fashion, Futurecop! has an infectious sound that could be the perfect soundtrack for your weekend bachelor pad parties or getaways. Here’s my favorite track, enjoy. Manzur Iqbal and Peter Carrol are the minds behind the Futurecop!, or what they call a “project encapsulating how I think certain people looked at life and future in the 80s.”
