The Strokes - Someday
Been posting a lot of remixes lately and along with those comes the synth heavy production styles that have become far too common in today’s music. I won’t go into my Nostradamus music predictions but expect some changes in the next year or so. The new style wont be complete 360 but sounds now are just so bubbly and girly-manish, I expect the next movement to be a lot grittier and darker.
With that said, I thought it would be nice to step away from the keyboards for a second and post a little post-punk/garage rock revival for your Wednesday morning. Someday is my favorite track from The Strokes extremely hyped and critically acclaimed LP, Is This It. No special fx, no lasers, no spaceships, just rock & roll. I’d like to elaboraterate more but have way too much on my plate today, enjoy a break from the space age.
