ASIDES, BANDS, FEATURED, FEATURED EVENT, MUSINGS

Wow. Two chairs, two guitars, two people but only one harmonious stream of acoustic music poured from that stage. Rodrigo’s lead guitar paved the way for Gabriel to shine and together they were paranormal. Although he serves as an intensely fast and flawless lead guitarist, I couldn’t take my eyes off Gabriela. My eyes couldn’t even figure out how her loose hand struck those strings to make a soft and striking rhythm the way she did. Her laid back coolness only added to the mystery of her skill as she quickly knocked on the wood to create whimsical yet perfectly –placed beats. The crowd was rightfully mesmerized and gasping while watching WHAT stage that afternoon in Centeroo.

Oh, and might I add that the crowd chimed in to sing her Happy Birthday after Rodrigo said it was the day before. Let’s just say we put ourselves to shame when there was no unison, volume or rhythm, but hey we gave it our best.
