O’spada – Time
It’s official, more then half of my favorite acts right now are Swedish. O’spada, my latest muse, is a side project for Swedish song writer Julia Spada based out of Stockholm. Time, their first single is straight out of the 80’s and sounds like a cross between Quincy Jones, Prince and Justice – very fresh. The production is simple yet infectious, featuring a blasting Nord Lead synth playing the funky 2 chord progression that Julia rides with her skillfull song writing. I’ve been thinking about DJ’ing again and I can only imagine dropping this song in the middle of a set and watching people react. This is a certified banger & E.M.P.T. favorite, enoy.
