BANDS

You say you love me
And you’re thinkin’ of me,
But you know you could be wrong.”

Incredible poetry. These lyrics are about a guy whose tired of his girls indecision but has great perspective and is ready to move on. The girl seems to like him but probably not as much as he would like so he’s acknowledging some of the feelings she may be hiding or repressing. Usually when you call out a girl on something like that it just makes her want you more, because girls love a guy with clear vision and understanding. Some people get bothered by reality, some people love it. The older I get the more romantic I find reality because it lets you move on faster and get to the better more meaningful things without wasting to much time. In my opinion it also makes you happier because you never get to the point that you feel stuck in something you don’t want. This type of thinking and attitude were dominant in the ’60s and I couldn’t agree more. Life is short man and since it’s all perspective you just gotta see it the right way, enjoy.
