This song is about about a guy who is romanticizing that his long lost girl is out in the world reminiscing about him. I watched Disney movies too, when I was 5. To all the bachelors and bachelorettes out there let it be known that this soft type of behavior is unacceptable. Thinking about the past is a very indulgent practice that keeps you trapped in a distorted reality based flimsy thoughts that may or may not even exist. Why be sad or caught up thinking about the past when you can make the most of the present?

The problem with a lot of relationships is that people see what they want to see and not what’s actually there. This is the number one reason why it seems like people do complete 180’s when they break up. The truth is they didn’t really change, you just weren’t aware of what was really going on. The say love is blind but sometimes it’s just blinding. Besides all that, the past just keeps you out of the moment and with one life to live that’s just wrong. If Chromeo had written these lyrics it would be a little more in tune with the Space Age but it’s still a banging dance track, enjoy.
