Dr. Dog – Where’d All The Time Go

BANDS

I just heard the new Dr. Dog album Shame, Shame and I gotta say it’s pretty good man. Produced by Rob Schnapf, it’s the bands 5th studio album and the first one recorded in a professional studio with an outside producer. The sound is very different from the lo-fi goodness common in their early work but it’s fresh nevertheless. For those not familiar, Dr. Dog is a band from Philadelphia who sound like a mixture of The Beach Boys, The Band and The Beatles.

You know I get so forgetful when I look into your eyes…”

Those lyrics are from my favorite song on the album Where’d All The Time Go, a blissful tune about the age old saying time flies when your having fun. According to the band, the song is actually 8 years old but never made it into song form until now, good things come to those who wait. It’s been a while since I heard some quality Rock & Roll come my way, enjoy.
