I’ve been in SoCal for almost two weeks now and it’s amazing just how slow paced life out here can be. I can’t seem to get accustomed to the time difference so its bad enough that I wake up 3 hours ahead of everyone but the lifestyle here is leisurely, I love it. Naturally, the music I’m listening to out here is bound to be on the slower side to fit the atmosphere. It’s also not a surprise that it would be by artist who call Cali home, which is why I’ve had this Nosaj Thing Remix of Islands on repeat for the last 2 hours. Nosaj aka Jason Chung is a young and very talented producer with a distinctive atmospheric sound and absolutely no respect for genres or any stylistic parallels for that matter. I’ve got another week left in sun so I have to get outside and keep this momentum going, enjoy.
