I have a good 10 minutes of spare time today so this is going to be a quick one.

Last week, my good friend Antoine Karl sent me his Summer Sweater newsletter and the topic of conversation was the awesome Coconut Records song Any Fun. I listened to this a lot last year but for some reason 2009 feels like it was 10 years ago now so I had completely forgotten about it. It’s a rainy morning, football won’t be on for another million hours and to top things off it’s Monday. Fortunately, this is one of those songs that will put a smile on your face regardless of the weather or lack of NFL broadcasting. In fact, the entire Davy album is a recipe for feel good and I would highly recommend picking it up. You gotta respect Jason Schwartzman’s blueprint, the dudes carved out a niche for himself and reign king when it comes to his style. Being the nephew of Francis Ford Coppola and Nicholas Cage could pigeonhole you but he’s managed to make his own name to perfection. Alright, time to hit the streets, enjoy.
