The Chemical Brothers – Swoon (Lindstrom and Prins Thomas Remix)
It’s damn near impossible to post on Sundays with NFL Redzone in the background but I’ll try. Swoon was the jam back in July and it’s probably the only 9 and a half minute song I can listen to in total satisfaction. I have a Sunday playlist which consists mainly of songs that can sit in the background without taking up too much attention and this one fits the bill perfectly. In these guys’ hands, “Swoon” becomes an old school stretched-out disco odyssey, complete with bass slaps and organ squelches.
