CuDi Zone is hands down my favorite song from Man on The Moon. CuDi has a very clever way of blending concepts of ambition and dreams with his love for smoking Mary Jane. However, if you manage to listen through the fog you’ll find endless gems and insight worthy of some serious rumination. The original Cudi Zone is about Scotts struggle to find himself in the face of disbelievers and his non traditional ambition.

One of the reasons I’m big on Cudi is because I share his passion for individuality. Some people associate that with the clothes they wear and all sorts of material things but for me it’s a uniqueness of thought, freedom of personal perspective and ideas.

There are so many social customs that have been around for so long, we learn them from an early age and never even think to question their validity.
