The Concept – Gimme Twice

BANDS

Yeah they sound like Phoenix but that’s not our problem. As a music fan I’ve stopped caring about details when it comes to music. If it feels good and connects with me in some way I’m in. I don’t care if it’s a Skrillex jam with the most obnoxious Optimus Prime sounds I’ve ever heard or a Bon Iver severely depressed 45 bpm love song, if it moves me that’s all there is to it. Nowadays I think there’s more sharing, talking and critiquing of music then there is actual listening and there’s nothing right about it. I like to keep my list of things to worry about to a minimum and worrying about who an artists sounds like is not top priority in that process. Gimme Twice, is a great record and weather you want to spend your time comparing it or enjoying it there’s no denying it’s ability to make you feel good. Rock on.
